John Cleesee, best known from Monty Python, is in this funny commercial comparing a portable computer with a fish, “as it would be quite unfair to compare it with another computer”. “the fish weights 22 pounds which makes it extremely portable. It will fit on the passenger seat in your car or in the luggage room when you are travelling by train. By coincidence, the computer weights exactly the same. So nothing to choose between them so far”.
And so on. I think these funny commercials John Cleese made for COMPAQ are some of my favourite commercials of all time. Both because I love him, but also because the geeky me enjoys to see these old school computers. As far as I’m concerned, he has been involved in five commercials, where four of these have been for COMPAQ. They will all be added to the site in the short future. Hope you will enjoy them as much as I did.

LOL, so that’s what they usually referred as portable in 80′s, it really not quite portable enough now. But, the part when they compared it to fish because no computer can be compared with is really hilarious, LOL.
